" BEYOND is a Happy Hour/DJ Event held every Wednesday night from 6pm to 11pm in the Upstairs lounge above Skewers and Café Luna restaurants at the corner of 17th and P NW. Every week local and national DJs from all over the east coast play a wide variety of music, including downtempo, indie rock, house, dubstep, reggae and minimal techno.

We've got $2 beers, $3 Pomegranate Martinis and $4 Ketel One martinis until 8pm, with drink prices going up by just a dollar after that. There is also a special $2 tapas menu from Skewers all night long, as well as that restaurant's full menu; extensive vegetarian options are available"

locals+freaks vol. III

An old Outputmessage live set has been posted on beatbots.com as a part of the locals+freaks podcast.  It was performed March 2005 in Lansing, MI in the studio of my friend Patrick's (part of the  bmore/electro" crew) radio show.  You'll hear a lot of tracks from Nebulae before it was Nebulae and also some material that has yet to be released.

BYT / new material / vocals?

Don't forget about the BYT relaunch party tomorrow.  I will be DJing/performing at 6pm (right before Animal Collective.)  It's a little early for a Saturday night, but it'd be a good opportunity for you to get a preview of what's to come for Outputmessage.  I will be spinning only Outputmessage material, and most of the songs will be from my upcoming Resurface EP as well as my next full-length (which will contain vocals by me.)

I was invited to play at the Brightest Young Things relaunch party this Saturday.  Funnily enough, I was unaware until a few days ago that Animal Collective would be going on right before me.  It should be a good time.  The show will be happening in a (not so) secret location and you will have to RSVP.
